150th Frankenstein-project at Trafó
The very first production of the Proton Theatre celebrates its 150th performance in September.
Frankenstein-project premiered in 2007. In the last 13 years, it toured all over Europe and was seen as far as Asia and South America. Not only did Kornél Mundruczó's staging tour the world, but it was also constantly on the move in Budapest. It was hosted by Bárka Theatre; a pawn shop in a former industrial district; on the main stage of Trafó House of Contemporary Arts; the foyer of the Átrium Theatre; a former grocery store; and a parking garage.
On 13 and 14 September 2020, this adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel will be shown again at a special venue, once more in collaboration with Trafó House of Contemporary Arts.
